Welcome to Sycamore Stables, home of the WKD Showjumping Team. Based just outside Belfast, we specialise in breeding and producing elite sport horses for the international stage. From carefully bred youngsters to seasoned Grand Prix winners, our horses reflect our passion for performance, precision, and horse welfare.
With decades of experience competing worldwide, we offer a full spectrum of services: horse sales, breeding, training opportunities, and — launching this year — our very first Sycamore Stables Auction of outstanding young horses.

Sameh El Dahan
Rider/Trainer
Sameh El Dahan, with over 20 years international competition experience, representing Team GB showjumping on National Cup teams. He provides unparalleled coaching for riders with his Level 1 FEI coaching certificate, training riders around the world and those who choose to visit Sycamore Stables for residential coaching.
Joanne Sloan Allen
Founder/Rider
Established Breeder of showjumping horses and ponies. Founder of Sycamore Stables, Joanne has competed at 5* level and World Cup qualifiers and produced horses from Novice to Grand Prix including Sumas Zorro. She now focuses on managing the team and producing the next superstars of the future.

The indoor and outdoor arenas provide foot perfect and safe settings for show jumping practice.

Gallops are available for conditioning and fitness training of our horses.
Horse Walker
A state-of-the-art horse walker allows for safe exercise and recovery.
Stable Yard
Our stable yard features modern stalls, wash boxes, tack and rug rooms, staff facilities and residential space for visiting riders.

We work with top trainers and riders all over the globe to improve our own team and that of visiting riders and their horses. We can recommend riders for horses and regularly find horses from many of our associates.

Our home bred horses have won numerous national and international titles, from International Grand Prix to young horse championships, jumping pony to breeding champs we are proud of our success in the jumping arena.
Global Competitions
Our horses and riders travel the globe competing for their country and as individuals. With our excellent logistics team, the horses travel comfortably be it by road, sea or air, their veterinary and customs paperwork is all in order, and even show entries are all handled by our office.
